Course overview
CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support is the nationally recognised qualification for experienced aged care workers stepping up into senior, specialised and team-leadership roles. It builds advanced person-centred care, support for people living with dementia, a palliative approach, and the skills to coordinate services and respond to older people at risk. Skilled Care delivers it on the job, over around 12 months or sooner, as an employer-sponsored pathway.

How it's delivered
Delivered on the job over around 12 months (or sooner) as an employer-sponsored traineeship – structured training combined with supervised workplace practice (at least 120 hours). Paid traineeship pathways may be available; ask us about eligibility.
